Ron has been an Albuquerque banker since 1981. He has spent his entire banking career with locally-owned, independent community banks. In 2005 Ron led a group of New Mexico investors who formed Main Bank, where he currently is the President and CEO. Main Bank is the only Albuquerque based community bank that is owned by New Mexicans (and Main Bank did not take TARP bailout money). Ron and his wife of 38 years have two adult sons, an engineer and a banker who works with him at Main Bank. Ron has dreams of being able to lead the NMSO, with fond memories of playing the saxophone in high school and college. Vote early and often for Ron so he can relive those younger years.
