The Music Guild of New Mexico is a volunteer organization committed to supporting music and the arts through financial, educational, and promotional activities. The talented and diverse members of the Guild educate and build community relationships to ensure our musical legacy through support of nonprofit musical organizations and nonprofit music education programs in New Mexico. The Music Guild provides members with friendship, fun, worthwhile endeavors, networking, and personal growth. The Music Guild enthusiastically welcomes new members at any time.

Our goals are:
  • To explore, develop, organize, promote, and support fundraising events
  • To promote music appreciation and educational opportunities throughout the community
  • To increase public awareness of the Guild

Anyone who is interested in the welfare of music in New Mexico is eligible and welcome to join the Guild. The membership year runs from June 1 to May 31. Your dues must be paid by July 31 to be listed in the Membership Directory. You may send a check payable to Music Guild of New Mexico with your application (address is on the application), or click on the appropriate membership level below to pay your dues online and then send your completed membership form as an email attachment to Judy Gilman or via US Post.

Get-acquainted parties are held for new members throughout the year, offering insight into volunteer activities, information about upcoming events, and the opportunity for members to get to know each other.

Membership Luncheons

General membership meetings are held four times per year in conjunction with luncheons or dinners and a holiday fashion show. Dates and information for 2011-2012 follow:


Fall Luncheon, Wednesday, September 28, 2011, 11:15 a.m. at El Pinto Restaurant, 10500 4th Street NW, on the Rio Grande Patio.

This luncheon meeting featured:

1.  A delicious Mexican buffet,

2.  A vote on possible new name, vision/mission statement and Bylaw changes,

3.  A Spotlight on two members, and

4.  A Raffle to win a Pamper hamper gift basket worth over $100 and a Music gift bag with two $60 tickets for Opera Southwest's October production of Rossini's The Barber of Seville and other music-themed items.
